Lace up the laces

So I had stumbled upon some DIY shoe stuff and was inspired to try it myself.  I was at Target and saw these for $13 and knew I had to buy them.  I had some 25 cent lace that I picked up from a fabric store in the Strip District.  I used tape to roll up the ends of the lace, and then re-laced the shoes.   I like how it definitely girl-ifies these plain boring shoes. I'm not sure if I want to keep the plain white for simplicity or add more to the shoes.  Thoughts?  Regardless, I'm pretty excited to wear these!
