DIY Paintbrush holder

Awhile back, I had bought this great $2 fabric from Ikea's as is section.  I already had made this dress form from the material, but I still had plenty to spare.  Currently, I was storing my paintbrushes in a plastic bag and they kept falling out, so I instantly knew what I could use some of the extra fabric for.   The longest paintbrush I had was 12 inches so I measured 2 fourteen inch rectangles, leaving room for the edges. I flipped the two rectangles inside out and sewed along the three edges.

I didn't have a zipper but I did have Velcro, so I sewed three Velcro strips.  It ended up fitting perfectly and coincidentally matched my paintbrushes.  And since I used what I already had, it cost me basically nothing!
